Un o uchafbwyntiau 2016 i mi oedd bod yn rhan o gynhyrchiad arloesol ac aml-gyfrwng Serenestial dan arweiniad Catrin Finch. Perfformiwyd y cyngerdd ym mhafiliwn yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yn y Fenni fis Awst. Lluniais gyfres o ddeg o gerddi am y planedau a'r haul yn arbennig ar ei gyfer. Mae bellach yn bosib gwylio'r holl gynhyrchiad ar lein ar wefan S4C neu ar iPlayer y BBC. Os hoffet ti ddarllen cerddi Serenestial (a berfformiwyd yn arbennig ar y noson gan Sara Lloyd-Gregory) wrth wylio'r rhaglen, clicia fan hyn. Darlledwyd y rhaglen am y tro cyntaf neithiwr, a bydd ar gael i'w gwylio tan ddiwrnod olaf Tachwedd. Earlier this year I was commissioned by Catrin Finch to compose a series of ten poems on the subject of the sun and its eight planets for Serenestial, a special concert at the National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny. The concert is now available online on both the S4C website and on BBC iPlayer (until the end of November). To read the poems as you watch, click here.

Ar gais rhai o selogion y trydarfyd – a Sioned Mills (@llef) yn flaenaf yn eu mysg – fe ges i ac Aneirin Karadog ein hysbrydoli i greu podlediad misol newydd sbon ac unigryw yn trafod barddoni o bob math (@podlediadclera). Mae'r rhifyn cyntaf o Bodlediad Clera – rhifyn mis Hydref – bellach ar gael ar SoundCloud ac ar iTunes. Mae'n cynnwys trafodaeth ar fân gystadlaethau llenyddol yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol, cerdd newydd gan Osian Rhys Jones, cyfweliad â Ceri Wyn Jones – un o drefnwyr Gŵyl y Cynhaeaf – gwers gynganeddu a golwg ar ddigwyddiadau mis Tachwedd. Mwynhewch!
The Twittersphere called for a poetry podcast, and lo! Aneirin Karadog and I stepped up to the plate. The first Clera podcast – now online on both SoundCloud and iTunes – is full of things poetic, including new poetry by Osian Rhys Jones, a quick cynghanedd lesson and a round-up of events over the coming month. Enjoy!
The latest poem to be published on the website is a scathing response to Brexit – the lies that fuelled it, the vacuum that allowed the lies to fester and the speed with which so many empty promises were abandoned by the shameless leaders of the leave campaign within a few hours of victory. Written at the beginning of August, the poem was performed in a fringe event at the National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny. The uncertainty concerning Brexit's course and the damage it could yet inflict in Wales persists.
