Ddiwedd Awst eleni, bydd Nei a'r teulu'n ffarwelio â Chymru ac yn ymfudo i Lydaw bell. Am y tro olaf am gryn amser, felly, fe ymlwybrodd y ddau ohonon ni draw i Dafarn Ffostrasol i recordio'r rhifyn diweddaraf o bodlediad Clera (ar gael ar SoundCloud ac ar iTunes), a hynny yng nghwmni dau fardd lleol o fri, sef Dai Rees Davies ac Emyr Pen-rhiw. Mae'r ddau'n aelodau o dîm talwrn Ffostrasol, un o'r ychydig dimau oedd yn rhan o'r gyfres gyntaf un o Dalwrn y Beirdd BBC Radio Cymru. Diolch am eu cwmni difyr a ffraeth! Bu'r ddau wàg yn feirniaid y llinell gynganeddol inni hefyd, ac fe gyfrannodd Emyr gerdd ysgafn i'r Orffwysfa. Hynny i gyd a'r holl eitemau arferol.

Nei's upcoming self-exile in Brittany means that this July's Clera podcast (available on both SoundCloud and iTunes) was the last time in a long time that he and I will muster in Ffostrasol. We went out with the help of two legendary poets who live in the village, Dai Rees Davies and Emyr Pen-rhiw, who are both members of one of the longest-serving teams on BBC Radio Cymru's flagship poetry programme, Talwrn y Beirdd.

I was invited recently to write an article for BBC Cymru Fyw on a regular item in the Clera podcast, namely one in which listeners send in lines of accidental cynghanedd that they've seen or heard anywhere and in any language. The one in the picture above is a good example – the words 'winter – beer is best' form a perfect cynghanedd sain!
